Via its three divisions, On the Go is a leading, multi-industry computer hardware, software and peripherals reseller and systems integrator, and corporate multimedia digital service solutions provider. Compuquest (acquired in 2003) packages systems and sells top of the line product to hundreds of US and Canadian clientele including Fortune 500 companies, hospitality corporations, government ministries and banking institutions. Helios/Oceana (acquired 2005), Canada's premier technology integrator providing complete solutions to the entertainment, education, print and publishing industries, is the preferred digital solutions provider for notables as IBM, Apple, HP, and sgi. The Company is actively targeting additional high-growth acquisitions in the IT industry to add to its existing sector and revenue strength of Compuquest, Helios/Oceana and Go Motion and Design.
Stuart Turk: President, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors, is the founder of On the Go. With over 15 years of research and development experience in the product and equipment manufacturing arena, he holds several Canadian and US patents for personally designed products, and has received funding for research and development from both the Canadian Government and the National Research Council of Canada.
Randy Kalpin: Compuquest Founder and Director of Operations and On the Go Director is responsible for overseeing all facets of the day-to-day business. Following 3 year experience as an Account Executive for Toronto-based Northern Microsolutions, Randy independently launched computer hardware/software VAR Compuquest in 1989. Mr. Kalpin has demonstrated an ability to seek out strategic business resources in the employees that have taken root at Compuquest, some as long as 7 years employed with the Company. With nearly 20 years of experience in computer related work related experiences, Mr. Kalpin has soundly built on his product knowledge and marketing abilities and has developed an award winning business manifesto.
Carlos Ventura: Helios/Oceana President since 2000, Carlos was previously the firm's VP of Sales and responsible for the largest growth in its history achieving revenues exceeding $9M annually. He began his career, over 12 years ago, in a then emergent digital media and entertainment industry with Alias Systems, managing partner relationships in Toronto followed by a period as regional manager in Detroit.
Under Carlos' leadership, Helios, whose genesis was primarily that of an animation and industrial design graphics software solutions reseller, has grown to incorporate the design, integration and support of the market's best solutions for high performance computing, networking and storage applications.
Brad Southam: Launching his Arts career at 16 working as a fashion photographer and formally studying in Canada and London, England, Brad's creative career has focused on photography, design, video and multimedia platforms. He spent 2000 - 2004 as the Creative Director of a leading Canadian disc manufacturer and video producer. While in London, Brad led the graphics department at Empress Cosmetics and has also worked previously for several design firms in Canada and the UK.
