About Bentley Sports, Inc.
Bentley Sports, Inc. provides sports education and training to PGA professionals, coaches, athletes and industry partners across the country. The company develops and designs technology and educational training programs to enhance amateur and professional athletes' functional performance, power and overall ability. At its Ludlow, VT headquarters, the company's Golf Science and Research Laboratory integrates the latest in technology, including foot pressure analysis and motion analysis systems, to develop and test its patented training programs.
Certification programs have been designed to train and educate industry partners, including the PGA of America and the American Physical Therapy Association of APTA. The Company has currently developed 7 levels of certification for the golf division, tailored to educate PGA professionals, physical therapists, and the country's top college and high school coaches.
Bentley Golf, a division of Bentley Sports, has designed, patented, and proven the most comprehensive golf training program available. This division has developed a patented software application called the Kinetic Swing System. The web based program allows Bentley Certified PGA Professionals to accurately analyze, quantify, and prescribe drills that quickly and efficiently improve players' performance. The program has proven to enhance performance of players at all ability levels.
The Company plans to open a minimum of 15 golf academies and certify 400 PGA Professionals at the top resorts and country clubs across the country.The Company will attract these professionals by conducting educational seminars for the PGA of America and strategically placing a motivated sales team across the country.
Bentley Golf's Kinetic Swing System is the first biomechanical data collection and prescription system to be taken out of the labs and offered to the golfing public through a certified Bentley PGA Professional. This complete system allows Bentley Golf specialists to reduce injury-producing forces in the golf swing and enhance functional performance on the golf course. The Kinetic Swing System's value is unlimited in the golf industry.
The patented Kinetic Swing System was developed by a team of the country's leading PGA Professionals, specialists in the field of human motion enhancement, biomechanists, psychologists, athletic trainers, sports optometrist and golf coaches.
It has been estimated by the National Golf Foundation (NGF) that in the year 2010, there will be over 50 million golfers in the United States and over 1 billion rounds of golf played.
